ALS-linked genes at 2dpf in the zebrafish. The expression pattern of 18 ALS-associated genes were investigated using whole mount in situ hybridization in the zebrafish at 2dpf. The genes examined were: (A) prph, (B) matr3l1.2, (C) erbb4a, (D) fig4a, (E) mapta, (F) dctn1b, (G) tia1, (H) vcp, (I) ewsr1a, (J) ewsr1b, (K) hnrnpa1a, (L) hnrnpa1b, (M) chmp2ba, (N) chmp2bb, (O) erbb4b, (P) spg11, (R) fus, and (S) pfn1. Head-only expressed genes in the developing zebrafish. Brain expression of genes that were robustly detected in the head of the developing zebrafish by whole mount in situ hybridization are shown at 2dpf, 3dpf, and 4dpf. Genes belonging to the head-only group were (A-a’’) prph, (B-b’’) matr3l1.2, (C-a’’) erbb4a, (D-d’’) fig4a, (E-e’’) mapta, and (F-f’’) dctn1b. Scale bars represent 200 μm. |
Head and faint trunk expressed genes in the head of the developing zebrafish. Brain expression of genes that were detected in the head and faintly in the trunk of the developing zebrafish by whole mount in situ hybridization are shown at 2dpf, 3dpf, and 4dpf. (A-a’’) tia1, (B-b’’) vcp, (C-c’’) ewsr1a, (D-d’’) ewsr1b, (E-e’’) hnrnpa1a, (F-f’’) hnrnpa1b, and (G-g’’) chmp2ba belonged to this group. Scale bars represent 200 μm. |
