Pharmacological inhibition of the RA pathway expands the CMZ ventrally along the choroid fissure. (C) Total eye area and col15a1b-positive area were measured for lateral views of either vehicle or BMS493-treated homozygous mutant eyes (n≥11 embryos), and percentage of eye area occupied by col15a1b-expressing cells was calculated for each eye.
