Distribution of BrdU-labeled cells in the injured adult zebrafish telencephalon. (A) Adult zebrafish were placed in water containing 10 mM BrdU for 4 hours, and then in BrdU-free water. After creating the lesion, they were then sacrificed at the indicated time points. (B–E′) Immunodetection of BrdU in the coronal brain sections (dorsal up) at 0 (B,B′), 3 (C,C′), 7 (D,D′) and 10 (E,E′) dpl.
