(B) In situ hybridization detection of contactin-2 mRNA in longitudinal sections of the spinal cord 3 mm caudal to the lesion site at 4 and 12 hrs, and at 6 and 11 days after SCI (n = 3 fish/group). Numbers of positive cells were increased along the central canal at 6 and 11 days after SCI compared to the sham injury group at 11 days.
