Statement of Research Interest
Statement of Research Interests: The Kurrasch lab studies the genetic programs that govern hypothalamic development. We are interested in cell fate decisions as well as neuronal migration mechanisms that cause neurons to coalesce into a nucleus. In addition, we examine how environmental challenges (e.g., endocrine disrupting chemicals, toxicants) perturb normal development of this region.
