Name: MiP motor neuron
Synonyms: middle primary motoneuron
Definition: A primary motor neuron that is part of the spinal cord. The axon turns caudally and dorsally, coursing between the surface of the spinal cord and the medial surface of the axial muscles to the dorsal median septum. The MiP axon then extends dorsally to the surface of the muscle, where it turns to arborize ventrally over the lateral surface of the axial muscle.
Ontology: Anatomy Ontology [ZFA:0005179]
Name: axon
Synonyms:
Definition: The long process of a neuron that conducts nerve impulses, usually away from the cell body to the terminals and varicosities, which are sites of storage and release of neurotransmitter.
Ontology: GO: Cellular Component [GO:0030424]    QuickGO    AmiGO
Name: physical object quality
Synonyms: monadic quality of a continuant, monadic quality of an object, monadic quality of continuant, multiply inhering quality of a physical entity, quality of a continuant, quality of a single physical entity, quality of an object, quality of continuant
Definition: A quality which inheres in a continuant.
Ontology: Phenotypic Quality Ontology [PATO:0001241]
