Term ID
CHEBI:229948
Synonyms
  • (2S)-1-[(2S)-2-(trimethylazaniumyl)propanoyl]pyrrolidine-2-carboxylate
Definition
belongs to the class of organic compounds known as dipeptides. TMAP was previously an unknown potential plasma biomarker for glomerular filtration rate (GFR) but its structure has since been elucidated (PMID: 28706470 ).
