- A member of the class of piperidones that is piperidin-4-one substituted by a 3-oxoprop-1-en-3-yl group at position 1 and 4-nitrobenzylidene groups at positions 3 and 5. It is an inhibitor of ubiquitin-specific-processing protease 14 (USP14) and ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase isozyme L5 (UCHL5).
