Definition
A carbohydrate derivative in which a tetrasaccharide derivative consisting of an alpha-D-rhamnose residue, two N-formyl-alpha-D-perosamine residues and a methyl N-formyl-alpha-D-perosaminide residue linked sequentially (1->2), (1->3) and (1->2) is linked to a protein, normally via a 3,4-diaminocyclobutane-1,2-dione-based linker attached to position 4 of the rhamnose residue at the non-reducing end.
