Abstract
Recently, it was demonstrated that OMP significantly exhibited antimelanogenic activity via the ATP7A-dependent transport of copper to tyrosinase (9). However, OMP’s inhibitory effect on melanin biosynthesis via MAPKs has not yet been examined. In this study, we investigated whether the effect of MAPK signalling on zebrafish melanin formation is regulated by OMP.
