Biography and Research Interest
Professor Yun Li got his Ph.D. in Marine Biotechnology from Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005, worked his Ph.D. dissertation in Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, University of Michigan at Ann Arbor during 2002-2004. The main research interests of Prof. Li’s Lab are the interactions between fish and biotic and abiotic environmental factors and their molecular mechanism. Using developmental genetics, genomics and CRISPR / cas9 gene editing approaches, we constructed zebrafish homozygous mutants concerning nutrition metabolism and immune stress-related gene knockout aim at elucidating genetic mechanism of fish (including farmed fish) response to stress.
