Fig. 6 Expression of dlx5a and dlx6a persists in 24hpf – 72hpf larvae despite deletion of intergenic enhancers in inter56−/− and is associated with increased dlx2a expression. The expression of dlx5a is lower than WT at 24hpf in inter56−/− but increases to levels comparable to WT by 48hpf. Expression of dlx6a is increased in all stages analyzed. Percentages indicate how often the phenotype was observed. Scale = 500 μm.
