(B) In the dorsal view the anterior and posterior semicircular canals are clearly visible in the wild type. In contrast, the ear of antm426 mutants (C) is flattened and the semicircular canals are not distinct. The arrowheads in B and C indicate positioning of the otolith. In A dorsal is up.
