Description
Predicted to have Rho guanyl-nucleotide exchange factor activity. Involved in animal organ morphogenesis and mesoderm morphogenesis. Is expressed in several structures, including Kupffer's vesicle; anterior axial hypoblast; forerunner cell group; mesoderm; and nervous system. Orthologous to human KIAA1755 (KIAA1755).

Note
Woods, et al. (2005. Genome Res. 15:1307-1314.) report this gene to be the ortholog of human PLEKHG4 based on amino acid similarity. Subsequent analysis suggests it is the ortholog of human KIAA1755 and mouse D630003M21Rik based on amino acid similarity and conserved synteny.
