Phenotype: lateral crista inner ear receptor cell stereocilium organization decreased process quality, abnormal
Note: This statement combines anatomy and/or ontology terms with phenotype quality terms to create a complete phenotype (EQ) statement. For detailed information on individual terms, click the hyperlinked term name.
Name: lateral crista
Synonyms: lateral crista ampullaris, lateral cristae, lateral semicircular canal sensory patch, lateral semicircular canal sensory patches, lc, medial crista
Definition: Patch of thickened, pseudostratified epithelium that is associated with the lateral semicircular canal. It consists of regular arrays of sensory hair cells interspersed with supporting cells. The lateral crista has its own characteristic shape and polarity pattern. (See Anatomical Atlas entry for sensory patches of the ear by T. Whitfield.)
Ontology: Anatomy Ontology [ZFA:0000166]
Name: inner ear receptor cell stereocilium organization
Synonyms: inner ear hair cell receptor stereocilium organization, inner ear receptor stereocilium organisation, inner ear receptor stereocilium organization and biogenesis
Definition: A process that is carried out at the cellular level which results in the assembly, arrangement of constituent parts, or disassembly of a stereocilium. A stereocilium is an actin-based protrusion from the apical surface of inner ear receptor cells.

Name: decreased process quality
Synonyms:
Definition: A quality of a process that has a value that is decreased compared to normal or average.
Ontology: Phenotypic Quality Ontology [PATO:0002302]
