Phenotype: intestinal bulb anatomical region lacks all parts of type neural crest cell, abnormal
Note: This statement combines anatomy and/or ontology terms with phenotype quality terms to create a complete phenotype (EQ) statement. For detailed information on individual terms, click the hyperlinked term name.
Name: intestinal bulb
Synonyms: anterior intestine, foregut, pseudogaster
Definition: The bulbous anteriormost portion of the intestine has the most digestive enzymes and the greatest epithelial surface area.
Ontology: Anatomy Ontology [ZFA:0001076]
Name: anatomical region
Synonyms:
Definition: A 3D region in space without well-defined compartmental boundaries; for example, the dorsal region of an ectoderm.
Ontology: Spatial Ontology [BSPO:0000070]
Name: lacks all parts of type
Synonyms: lacks all physical parts of type
Definition: A quality of physical entities inhering in a bearer by virtue of the bearer's lacking a physical part as specified by the additional entity.
Ontology: Phenotypic Quality Ontology [PATO:0002000]
Name: neural crest cell
Synonyms: neural crest cells
Definition: A cell of the neural crest. The neural crest is a strip of specialized ectoderm, the neural plate border, which flanks each side of the embryonic neural plate. Neural crest cells are multipotent. Premigratory neural crest cells are found at the neural plate boarder, some of which will undergo ectomesenchymal transition and delamination to form migratory neural crest cells. Most of the cranial and all of the spinal sensory ganglion cells arise by differentiation of neural crest cells.
