Definition
A branched heptasaccharide derivative consisting of a backbone of four alpha-D-mannose residues linked sequentially (1->3), with the residues at the non-reducing end and at the one proximal to the residue at the reducing end acetylated at O-6, and with a beta-D-glucuronosyl residue and two beta-D-xylosyl residues linked (1->2) to the main chain as shown in the diagram. One of a number of synthetic oligosaccharides used to create a synthetic strategy to Cryptococcus neoformans glucuronoxylomannan (GXM) capsular polysaccharide part structures.
